Intentions Counseling is a supportve and inclusive space devoted to the mental heath and emotional wellbeing of ALL women who want a happier outlook wether they are going through a : divorce, having children, experiencing relationship distress, family distress, going back to school, or struggling w/ employment concerns. I believe that every woman deserves access to compassionate care, a sense of community, and the tools to "thrive" rather then "just survive".

Objectives and Strategies
There are several modalities in therapy that are evidenced based strategies for symptom management: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfullness Based Cognitive Therapy, (MBCT), Brief Solutions Focused Therapy (SFBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapies such as EMDR, that can offer coping tools and new perspectives to reducing racing negative thoughts or intense trauma memories from PTSD.
